Remote access facilities are a unique practice to bring state-of-the-art technology into the hands of otherwise under-served student demographics. Remote facilities are developed to allow users to send print requests and view the AM equipment during the build. This is an inexpensive way to build student self-efficacy about AM technology in a widespread audience.
