Train-the-trainer Studio (TTS) educational modules are developed and offered to instruct STEM teachers on principles of AM and how to conduct AM courses and corresponding lab experiences. Studios are held by TTU each year and by hub institutions once during the project. Participants in these TTSs receive instruction and participate in hands-on labs. Studio teaching is a proven approach to teaching pedagogy that can be used to replace the standard lecture approach. A studio classroom can provide an active and cooperative learning environment. On-going support is provided in the form of webinars and MOOCs. In addition, after TTS participants have had an opportunity to implement the educational materials, they will have a chance to present their developed activities and lessons learned to other TTS participants either remotely or face-to-face.
