Psychological Acceptability

It is essential that the human interface be designed for ease of use, so that users routinely and automatically apply the protection mechanisms correctly. Also, as much as the user’s mental image of protection goals matches the mechanisms used, mistakes will be minimized. When a user uses a system that is unnatural/unintuitive/complex, there is more likelihood of errors. Any security mechanism may add some burden, but the burden must be minimal and reasonable.
