Are you interested in Cyber? Are you a Woman in STEM? Do you want to know how to get your degree paid for? Do you like FREE DINNER and FREE STUFF? If you answered yes to ANY of these questions, PLEASE join us at the first CyberEagles – W meeting of the semester! Come spend GALentine’s Day with us to hear from guest speaker, Provost Lori Bruce, and to learn about Tech’s CyberCorps Scholarship for Service oppurtunity! February 14th, 5-7pm, PRES 411. Halloween-themed night by CyberEagles-W

All are welcome to join us for a Halloween-themed night of fun. Step into the shoes of an attacker and embark on a bank heist as we learn about the stages of a cyber attack through a choose-your-own-adventure style game! Enter in our costume contest, with a prize provided for the best costume.

Dinner will be provided. Join us tomorrow (Oct-30) at 6:00 in Prescott – 225.

Cyber Discovery Day – 2018

On September 8th, the annual event of CEROC the “Cyber Discovery Day” was held.  It was yet another successful event. The number of attendees went up from last year.  Its a day when students from all majors are welcomed to learn about cyber security.

The purpose of this event is to bring cyber security close to the students. The students can learn about cyber security in general. They also get an opportunity to learn about personal experience of cyber security professionals who works in cyber day in day out.

A ‘Student Panel’ is formed with the students working in security. The panel share experiences of working in security and interacts with the students to answer their questions. It is one of the most interesting part of the day.

The students then enjoy a networking session with all the other cyber security students and professionals. Researches in cyber security is also presented by the students later in the day.

The day ends with a CyberSecurity game for the participating students.
